Privacy policy

Short version: the Panelize extension keeps your prompts and settings in your browser, has no server and no analytics, and never collects your AI conversations.

The Panelize extension

What is stored, and where

Panelize stores the following in browser-managed storage on your device:

Prompt library data stays in your browser profile. Some preferences use Chrome's sync storage, so Chrome may sync them across your signed-in browsers if you have browser sync turned on.

What Panelize does not collect

Nothing is sent to Panelize developers. There is no Panelize server.

Third parties the extension talks to

Your control

In Settings you can export your prompts and settings as JSON (Data Management → Export Data), delete all prompts (Danger Zone → Clear Prompts) or restore default settings (Reset Settings). Uninstalling the extension removes all of its data. No account is required.

The full extension policy, including a permission-by-permission explanation, is in PRIVACY.md on GitHub. The source code is public, so you can verify all of this yourself.
